By default, WordPress displays the latest entries on the home page. Today we will find out how to assign a specific home page.
We will need a published page which will act as the home page. To create it, go to Pages -> Add New, enter a title such as “Home” and click “Publish”.
If you plan to leave the output of the last posts on another page of the site, then, similarly to the main page, we publish another page, for example, “Blog”.
After that we go to Settings -> Reading, in the “Display on main page” parameter mark “Static page” and select the pages that will act as the main page and the record page and save changes.
Selected pages are now displayed with the corresponding markings.
Let’s go to the main page and check the result.
The output of the last posts is now located on the “Blog” page.
